I am currently a 17 year old senior at Foothill Technology High School. I watched your story in my Government class, and while watching it I had many mixed thoughts about your actions throughout your entire journey through pregnancy. One of my first thoughts of course was simply me wondering why you decided to have unprotected sex at such a young age fully knowing the risks and how it could affect your future. However, I feel that after you made this choice, you seemed to handle yourself somewhat well. You are incredibly brave and selfless for giving up your baby to someone who had always wished to be a mother but could not do so without your help.
Placed in your situation I'm not quite sure what I would do. Since I'm not a female I guess I would leave it up to her, but I would prefer what you chose in your case, adoption. I'm pro choice, even though I don't believe abortion is right I think there are times where it is necessary and it is always the woman's right to choose.
I found the way you handled yourself throughout this extremely mature for your age and hope the best for you in life.
